| לִפְנ֤וֹת | turned | lip̄·nō·wṯ | |
| אֵלָ֔יו | toward him ; | ’ê·lāw | |
| וְשָׁרָשָׁ֖יו | yet its roots | wə·šā·rā·šāw | |
| יִֽהְי֑וּ | remained | yih·yū | |
| תַּחְתָּ֣יו | where it stood . | taḥ·tāw | |
