| כְּפִרִ֖ים | the young lions ; | kə·p̄i·rîm | |
| רִבְּתָ֥ה | she reared | rib·bə·ṯāh | |
| גוּרֶֽיהָ׃ | her cubs . | ḡū·re·hā | |
| Ezekiel 19:3 | וַתַּ֛עַל | She brought up | wat·ta·‘al |

| מִגֻּרֶ֖יהָ | of her cubs , | mig·gu·re·hā | |
| הָיָ֑ה | and he became | hā·yāh | |
| כְּפִ֣יר | a young lion . | kə·p̄îr | |
| וַיִּלְמַ֥ד | After learning | way·yil·maḏ | |
| לִטְרָף־ | to tear | liṭ·rāp̄- | |
| טֶ֖רֶף | [his] prey , | ṭe·rep̄ | |
| אָכָֽל׃ | he devoured | ’ā·ḵāl | |
| אָדָ֥ם | men . | ’ā·ḏām | |
| Ezekiel 19:4 | גּוֹיִ֖ם | When the nations | gō·w·yim |
| וַיִּשְׁמְע֥וּ | heard | way·yiš·mə·‘ū | |
| אֵלָ֛יו | of him , | ’ê·lāw | |
| נִתְפָּ֑שׂ | he was trapped | niṯ·pāś | |
| בְּשַׁחְתָּ֣ם | in their pit . | bə·šaḥ·tām | |
| בַֽחַחִ֖ים | With hooks | ḇa·ḥa·ḥîm | |
| וַיְבִאֻ֥הוּ | they led him away | way·ḇi·’u·hū | |

| מִצְרָֽיִם׃ | of Egypt . | miṣ·rā·yim | |

| וַתִּקַּ֛ח | she took | wat·tiq·qaḥ | |

| מִגֻּרֶ֖יהָ | of her cubs | mig·gu·re·hā | |
| שָׂמָֽתְהוּ׃ | and made him | śā·mā·ṯə·hū | |
| כְּפִ֥יר | a young lion . | kə·p̄îr | |
| Ezekiel 19:6 | וַיִּתְהַלֵּ֥ךְ | He prowled | way·yiṯ·hal·lêḵ |

| וּמְלֹאָ֔הּ | and everything in it | ū·mə·lō·’āh | |

| מִקּ֖וֹל | at the sound | miq·qō·wl | |
