הַיּוֹצֵ֗אcomes outhay·yō·w·ṣê
מִדַּלְתֵ֤יthe doormid·dal·ṯê
בֵיתִי֙of my houseḇê·ṯî
לִקְרָאתִ֔יto greet meliq·rā·ṯî
בְשָׁל֖וֹםon my triumphantḇə·šā·lō·wm
בְּשׁוּבִ֥יreturnbə·šū·ḇî
מִבְּנֵ֣יfrom the Ammonitesmib·bə·nê
עַמּ֑וֹן. . .‘am·mō·wn
וְהָיָה֙will belong towə·hā·yāh
לַֽיהוָ֔ה YHWH ,Yah·weh
וְהַעֲלִיתִ֖הוּand I will offer it upwə·ha·‘ă·lî·ṯi·hū
עוֹלָֽה׃פas a burnt offering . ”‘ō·w·lāh

וַיִּכָּֽנְעוּ֙were subduedway·yik·kā·nə·‘ū
מִפְּנֵ֖יbeforemip·pə·nê
בְּנֵ֥יthe Israelitesbə·nê
יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃פ. . . .yiś·rā·’êl
Judges 11:34יִפְתָּ֣חAnd when Jephthahyip̄·tāḥ
וַיָּבֹ֨אreturnedway·yā·ḇō
אֶל־’el-
בֵּיתוֹ֒homebê·ṯōw
הַמִּצְפָּה֮ to Mizpah ,ham·miṣ·pāh
וְהִנֵּ֤הtherewə·hin·nêh
בִתּוֹ֙was his daughterḇit·tōw
יֹצֵ֣אתcoming outyō·ṣêṯ
לִקְרָאת֔וֹto meet himliq·rā·ṯōw
בְתֻפִּ֖יםwith tambourinesḇə·ṯup·pîm
וּבִמְחֹל֑וֹתand dancing !ū·ḇim·ḥō·lō·wṯ
וְרַק֙. . .wə·raq
הִ֣יאShe
יְחִידָ֔הwas his only child ;yə·ḥî·ḏāh
ל֥וֹhe hadlōw
אֵֽין־no’ên-
בֵּ֖ןsonbên
אוֹ־or’ōw-
בַֽת׃daughterḇaṯ
מִמֶּ֛נּוּbesides her .mim·men·nū

כִרְאוֹת֨וֹ[Jephthah] sawḵir·’ō·w·ṯōw
אוֹתָ֜הּ her ,’ō·w·ṯāh
וַיִּקְרַ֣עhe toreway·yiq·ra‘
אֶת־’eṯ-
בְּגָדָ֗יוhis clothesbə·ḡā·ḏāw
וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ and said ,way·yō·mer
אֲהָ֤הּ“ No !’ă·hāh
בִּתִּי֙Not my daughter !bit·tî
הַכְרֵ֣עַYou have brought me to my kneeshaḵ·rê·a‘
הִכְרַעְתִּ֔נִי. . . !hiḵ·ra‘·ti·nî
וְאַ֖תְּYouwə·’at
הָיִ֣יתְ. . .hå̄·yīṯ
בְּעֹֽכְרָ֑י have brought great misery upon me ,bə·‘ō·ḵə·rāy
וְאָנֹכִ֗יfor Iwə·’ā·nō·ḵî
