| וּבָתֵּ֖ינוּ | and our homes | ū·ḇāt·tê·nū | |
| וְנִקְחָ֥ה | to get | wə·niq·ḥāh | |
| דָגָ֖ן | grain | ḏā·ḡān | |
| בָּרָעָֽב׃ | during the famine . ” | bā·rā·‘āḇ | |

| וּכְרָמֵֽינוּ׃ | and vineyards . | ū·ḵə·rā·mê·nū | |

| מִבְּנֹתֵ֤ינוּ | our daughters | mib·bə·nō·ṯê·nū | |
| נִכְבָּשׁוֹת֙ | are already enslaved , | niḵ·bā·šō·wṯ | |
| וְאֵ֣ין | but we are powerless [to redeem them] | wə·’ên | |
