Job 11:17חָ֑לֶדYour lifeḥā·leḏ
יָק֣וּםwill be brighteryā·qūm
וּֽ֭מִצָּהֳרַיִםthan noonday ;ū·miṣ·ṣā·ho·ra·yim
תָּ֝עֻ֗פָהits darknesstā·‘u·p̄āh
תִּהְיֶֽה׃will betih·yeh
כַּבֹּ֥קֶרlike the morning .kab·bō·qer
Job 11:18וּֽ֭בָטַחְתָּ You will be secure ,ū·ḇā·ṭaḥ·tā
כִּי־becausekî-
יֵ֣שׁthere isyêš
תִּקְוָ֑ה hope ,tiq·wāh
וְ֝חָפַרְתָּ֗and you will look aroundwə·ḥā·p̄ar·tā
תִּשְׁכָּֽב׃and lie downtiš·kāḇ
לָבֶ֥טַחin safety .lā·ḇe·ṭaḥ
Job 11:19וְֽ֭רָבַצְתָּYou will lie downwə·rā·ḇaṣ·tā
וְאֵ֣יןwithoutwə·’ên
מַחֲרִ֑יד fear ,ma·ḥă·rîḏ
רַבִּֽים׃and manyrab·bîm
וְחִלּ֖וּwill courtwə·ḥil·lū
פָנֶ֣יךָyour favor .p̄ā·ne·ḵā
Job 11:20וְעֵינֵ֥יBut the eyeswə·‘ê·nê
רְשָׁעִ֗יםof the wickedrə·šā·‘îm
תִּ֫כְלֶ֥ינָה will fail ,tiḵ·le·nāh
וּ֭מָנוֹסand escapeū·mā·nō·ws
אָבַ֣דwill elude them’ā·ḇaḏ
מִנְהֶ֑ם. . . ;min·hem
וְ֝תִקְוָתָ֗םthey will hopewə·ṯiq·wā·ṯām
מַֽפַּח־for their last breathmap·paḥ-
נָֽפֶשׁ׃פ. . . . ”nā·p̄eš

כִּ֣יthen
אַתֶּם־you’at·tem-
עָ֑םare the people‘ām
וְ֝עִמָּכֶ֗םwith [whom]wə·‘im·mā·ḵem
חָכְמָֽה׃wisdom [itself]ḥāḵ·māh
תָּמ֥וּתwill die !tā·mūṯ
Job 12:3גַּם־But I alsogam-
לִ֤יhave
לֵבָ֨ב׀a mind ;lê·ḇāḇ
כְּֽמוֹכֶ֗ם. . .kə·mō·w·ḵem
אָנֹכִ֣יI’ā·nō·ḵî
לֹא־am notlō-
נֹפֵ֣לinferiornō·p̄êl
מִכֶּ֑םto you .mik·kem
וְאֶת־. . .wə·’eṯ-
מִי־Whomî-
אֵ֥יןdoes not [know]’ên
כְּמוֹ־such thingskə·mōw-
אֵֽלֶּה׃as these ?’êl·leh
Job 12:4אֶֽהְיֶ֗הI am’eh·yeh
שְׂחֹ֤קa laughingstockśə·ḥōq
לְרֵעֵ֨הוּ׀ to my friends ,lə·rê·‘ê·hū
קֹרֵ֣אthough I calledqō·rê
לֶ֭אֱלוֹהַּ on God ,le·’ĕ·lō·w·ah
וַֽיַּעֲנֵ֑הוּand He answered .way·ya·‘ă·nê·hū
צַדִּ֥יקThe righteousṣad·dîq
תָּמִֽים׃and upright mantā·mîm
שְׂ֝ח֗וֹקis a laughingstock .ḥō·wq
Job 12:5שַׁאֲנָ֑ןThe one at easeša·’ă·nān
בּ֭וּזscornsbūz
לַפִּ֣ידmisfortunelap·pîḏ
לְעַשְׁתּ֣וּתas the fatelə·‘aš·tūṯ
נָ֝כ֗וֹן. . .nā·ḵō·wn
רָֽגֶל׃of those whose feetrā·ḡel
לְמ֣וֹעֲדֵיare slipping .lə·mō·w·‘ă·ḏê
Job 12:6אֹֽהָלִ֨ים׀The tents’ō·hā·lîm
לְשֹׁ֥דְדִ֗יםof robberslə·šō·ḏə·ḏîm
יִשְׁלָ֤יוּ are safe ,yiš·lā·yū
לְמַרְגִּ֣יזֵיand those who provokelə·mar·gî·zê
