תַּמְרוּרִ֔יםthe signposts .tam·rū·rîm
לַֽמְסִלָּ֖הKeep the highwaylam·sil·lāh
שִׁ֣תִיin mindši·ṯî
לִבֵּ֔ךְ . . . ,lib·bêḵ
דֶּ֣רֶךְthe roadde·reḵ
הָלָכְתִּיyou have traveled .hå̄·lå̄·ḵə·tī
שׁ֚וּבִי Return ,ū·ḇî
בְּתוּלַ֣תO Virginbə·ṯū·laṯ
יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Israel ,yiś·rā·’êl
שֻׁ֖בִיreturnšu·ḇî
אֶל־to’el-
אֵֽלֶּה׃these’êl·leh
עָרַ֥יִךְcities of yours .‘ā·ra·yiḵ
Jeremiah 31:22עַד־How long‘aḏ-
מָתַי֙. . .mā·ṯay
תִּתְחַמָּקִ֔ין will you wander ,tiṯ·ḥam·mā·qîn
הַשּֽׁוֹבֵבָ֑הO faithlesshaš·šō·w·ḇê·ḇāh
הַבַּ֖תdaughter ?hab·baṯ
כִּֽי־Forkî-
יְהוָ֤הYHWHYah·weh
בָרָ֨אhas createdḇā·rā
חֲדָשָׁה֙a new thingḥă·ḏā·šāh
בָּאָ֔רֶץin the land —bā·’ā·reṣ
נְקֵבָ֖הa womannə·qê·ḇāh
תְּס֥וֹבֵֽבwill sheltertə·sō·w·ḇêḇ
גָּֽבֶר׃סa man . ”gā·ḇer
Jeremiah 31:23כֹּֽה־This is whatkōh-
יְהוָ֤הYHWHYah·weh
צְבָאוֹת֙ of Hosts ,ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ
אֱלֹהֵ֣יthe God’ĕ·lō·hê
יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel ,yiś·rā·’êl
אָמַ֞רsays :’ā·mar
בְּשׁוּבִ֖י“ When I restorebə·šū·ḇî
אֶת־them’eṯ-
שְׁבוּתָ֑ם from captivity ,šə·ḇū·ṯām
ע֣וֹדthey will once again‘ō·wḏ
יֹאמְר֞וּspeakyō·mə·rū
אֶת־’eṯ-
הַזֶּ֗הthishaz·zeh
הַדָּבָ֣רwordhad·dā·ḇār
בְּאֶ֤רֶץin the landbə·’e·reṣ
יְהוּדָה֙of Judahyə·hū·ḏāh
וּבְעָרָ֔יוand in its cities :ū·ḇə·‘ā·rāw
יְהוָ֛ה‘ May YHWHYah·weh
יְבָרֶכְךָ֧ bless you ,yə·ḇā·reḵ·ḵā
צֶ֖דֶקO righteousṣe·ḏeq
נְוֵה־ dwelling place ,nə·wêh-
הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃O holyhaq·qō·ḏeš
הַ֥רmountain .’har
Jeremiah 31:24יְהוּדָ֥הAnd Judahyə·hū·ḏāh
וְכָל־and allwə·ḵāl
עָרָ֖יוits cities‘ā·rāw
וְיָ֥שְׁבוּwill dwellwə·yā·šə·ḇū
יַחְדָּ֑וtogetheryaḥ·dāw
בָ֛הּ in [the land] ,ḇāh
אִכָּרִ֕יםthe farmers’ik·kā·rîm
וְנָסְע֖וּand those who movewə·nā·sə·‘ū
בַּעֵֽדֶר׃ with the flocks ,ba·‘ê·ḏer
Jeremiah 31:25כִּ֥יfor
הִרְוֵ֖יתִיI will refreshhir·wê·ṯî
עֲיֵפָ֑הthe weary‘ă·yê·p̄āh
נֶ֣פֶשׁsoulne·p̄eš
מִלֵּֽאתִי׃and replenishmil·lê·ṯî
וְכָל־allwə·ḵāl
נֶ֥פֶשׁ. . .ne·p̄eš
דָּאֲבָ֖הwho are weak .”dā·’ă·ḇāh

זֹ֖אתthiszōṯ
הֱקִיצֹ֣תִיI awokehĕ·qî·ṣō·ṯî
וָאֶרְאֶ֑הand looked around .wā·’er·’eh
וּשְׁנָתִ֖יMy sleepū·šə·nā·ṯî
עָ֥רְבָהhad been most pleasant‘ā·rə·ḇāh
