בָהֵן֙in themḇā·hên
וַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּand addedway·yā·śî·mū
קְטֹ֑רֶתincenseqə·ṭō·reṯ
עָלֶ֖יהָ – ,‘ā·le·hā
וַיַּקְרִ֜בוּand offeredway·yaq·ri·ḇū
זָרָ֔הunauthorizedzā·rāh
אֵ֣שׁfire’êš
לִפְנֵ֤יbeforelip̄·nê
יְהוָה֙ YHWH ,Yah·weh
אֲשֶׁ֧ר’ă·šer
לֹ֦אcontrary to
צִוָּ֖הHis commandṣiw·wāh
אֹתָֽם׃– .’ō·ṯām
Leviticus 10:2אֵ֛שׁSo fire’êš
וַתֵּ֥צֵאcame outwat·tê·ṣê
מִלִּפְנֵ֥יfrom the presencemil·lip̄·nê
יְהוָ֖הof YHWHYah·weh
וַתֹּ֣אכַלand consumedwat·tō·ḵal
אוֹתָ֑ם them ,’ō·w·ṯām
וַיָּמֻ֖תוּand they diedway·yā·mu·ṯū
לִפְנֵ֥יin the presence oflip̄·nê
יְהוָֽה׃YHWH .Yah·weh
Leviticus 10:3מֹשֶׁ֜הThen Mosesmō·šeh
וַיֹּ֨אמֶרsaidway·yō·mer
אֶֽל־to’el-
אַהֲרֹ֗ן Aaron ,’a·hă·rōn
הוּא֩“ This
אֲשֶׁר־is what’ă·šer-
יְהוָ֤ה׀YHWHYah·weh
דִּבֶּ֨רmeantdib·ber
לֵאמֹר֙when He said :lê·mōr
בִּקְרֹבַ֣י‘ To those who come near Mebiq·rō·ḇay
אֶקָּדֵ֔שׁ I will show My holiness ,’eq·qā·ḏêš
וְעַל־and inwə·‘al-
פְּנֵ֥יthe sight ofpə·nê
כָל־allḵāl
הָעָ֖םthe peoplehā·‘ām
אֶכָּבֵ֑דI will reveal My glory . ’”’ek·kā·ḇêḏ
אַהֲרֹֽן׃But Aaron’a·hă·rōn
וַיִּדֹּ֖םremained silent .way·yid·dōm

וַיִּקְרָ֣אsummonedway·yiq·rā
אֶל־’el-
מִֽישָׁאֵל֙Mishaelmî·šā·’êl
וְאֶ֣לwə·’el
אֶלְצָפָ֔ן and Elzaphan ,’el·ṣā·p̄ān
בְּנֵ֥יsonsbə·nê
אַהֲרֹ֑ןof Aaron’s’a·hă·rōn
דֹּ֣דuncledōḏ
עֻזִּיאֵ֖ל Uzziel ,‘uz·zî·’êl
וַיֹּ֣אמֶרand saidway·yō·mer
אֲלֵהֶ֗ם to them ,’ă·lê·hem
קִ֠רְב֞וּ“ Come here ;qir·ḇū
שְׂא֤וּcarryśə·’ū
אֶת־’eṯ-
אֲחֵיכֶם֙the bodies of your cousins’ă·ḥê·ḵem
מֵאֵ֣תmê·’êṯ
מִח֖וּץoutsidemi·ḥūṣ
לַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃ the camp ,lam·ma·ḥă·neh
פְּנֵי־away from the frontpə·nê-
הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁof the sanctuaryhaq·qō·ḏeš
אֶל־. . . . ”’el-
Leviticus 10:5וַֽיִּקְרְב֗וּSo they came forwardway·yiq·rə·ḇū
וַיִּשָּׂאֻם֙ and carried them ,way·yiś·śā·’um
בְּכֻתֳּנֹתָ֔ם still in their tunics ,bə·ḵut·to·nō·ṯām
