הַפָּ֣רbullhap·pār
הֹֽעֲלָ֔הoffered uphō·‘ă·lāh
עַל־on‘al-
הַבָּנֽוּי׃the newly builthab·bā·nui
הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַaltar .ham·miz·bê·aḥ
Judges 6:29מִ֥י“ Who

כִּ֤יbecause
נָתַץ֙he has torn downnā·ṯaṣ
אֶת־’eṯ-
הַבַּ֔עַלBaal’shab·ba·‘al
וְכִ֥י. . .wə·ḵî
מִזְבַּ֣חaltarmiz·baḥ
כָרַ֖תand cut downḵā·raṯ
הָאֲשֵׁרָ֥הthe Asherah polehā·’ă·šê·rāh
אֲשֶׁר־’ă·šer-

אֲשֶׁ֨רWhoever’ă·šer
יָרִ֥יבpleads his caseyā·rîḇ

יוּמַ֖תwill be put to deathyū·maṯ
עַד־by‘aḏ-
הַבֹּ֑קֶרmorning !hab·bō·qer
אִם־If’im-
הוּא֙[Baal]
אֱלֹהִ֥ים is a god ,’ĕ·lō·hîm
יָ֣רֶבlet him contendyā·reḇ
ל֔וֹfor himselflōw
כִּ֥יwith
נָתַ֖ץthe one who has torn downnā·ṯaṣ
אֶֽת־’eṯ-
מִזְבְּחֽוֹ׃his altar . ”miz·bə·ḥōw
