| תַּ֣חַת | for | ta·ḥaṯ | |
| נַפְשׁ֔וֹ | his life , | nap̄·šōw | |
| א֥וֹ | or | ’ōw | |
| תִּשְׁקֽוֹל׃ | you will weigh out | tiš·qō·wl | |
| כִכַּר־ | a talent | ḵik·kar- | |
| כֶּ֖סֶף | of silver . ’ | ke·sep̄ | |

| חָרָֽצְתָּ׃ | you have pronounced it | ḥā·rā·ṣə·tā | |
| אַתָּ֥ה | on yourself . ” | ’at·tāh | |
