ה֖וֹדwith his proudhō·wḏ
נַחְר֣וֹsnorting ?naḥ·rōw
Job 39:21יַחְפְּר֣וּHe pawsyaḥ·pə·rū
בָ֭עֵמֶקin the valleyḇā·‘ê·meq
וְיָשִׂ֣ישׂand rejoiceswə·yā·śîś
בְּכֹ֑חַin his strength ;bə·ḵō·aḥ
יֵ֝צֵ֗אhe chargesyê·ṣê

מִפְּנֵי־frommip·pə·nê-
חָֽרֶב׃the sword .ḥā·reḇ
Job 39:23אַשְׁפָּ֑הA quiver’aš·pāh
תִּרְנֶ֣הrattlestir·neh
עָ֭לָיו at his side ,‘ā·lāw
לַ֖הַבalong with a flashingla·haḇ
חֲנִ֣יתspearḥă·nîṯ
וְכִידֽוֹן׃and lance .wə·ḵî·ḏō·wn
Job 39:24בְּרַ֣עַשׁTremblingbə·ra·‘aš
וְ֭רֹגֶז with excitement ,wə·rō·ḡez
יְגַמֶּא־he devoursyə·ḡam·me-
אָ֑רֶץthe distance ;’ā·reṣ
וְלֹֽא־he cannotwə·lō-
יַ֝אֲמִ֗יןstand stillya·’ă·mîn
כִּי־. . .kî-
שׁוֹפָֽר׃when the ram’s hornšō·w·p̄ār
ק֥וֹלsounds .qō·wl
Job 39:25בְּדֵ֤יAtbə·ḏê
שֹׁפָ֨ר׀ the [blast of] the horn ,šō·p̄ār
יֹ֘אמַ֤רhe snortsyō·mar
הֶאָ֗חwith fervor .he·’āḥ
יָרִ֣יחַHe catches the scentyā·rî·aḥ
מִלְחָמָ֑הof battlemil·ḥā·māh
וּֽ֭מֵרָחוֹקfrom afar —ū·mê·rā·ḥō·wq
רַ֥עַםthe shoutsra·‘am
שָׂ֝רִיםof captainsrîm
וּתְרוּעָֽה׃and the cry of war .ū·ṯə·rū·‘āh
Job 39:26נֵ֑ץDoes the hawknêṣ
יַֽאֲבֶר־take flightya·’ă·ḇer-
הֲby your understandinghămib·bî·nā·ṯə·ḵā
יִפְרֹ֖שׂand spreadyip̄·rōś
כְּנָפוֹhis wingskə·nå̄·p̄ō
לְתֵימָֽן׃toward the south ?lə·ṯê·mān
Job 39:27נָ֑שֶׁרDoes the eaglenā·šer

עַל־at‘al-
פִּ֭יךָyour commandpî·ḵā
