| עַמִּ֔י | My people | ‘am·mî | |
| לְהִשָּׁבֵ֖עַ | to swear | lə·hiš·šā·ḇê·a‘ | |
| בַּבָּ֑עַל | by Baal — | bab·bā·‘al | |
| וְנִבְנ֖וּ | then they will be established | wə·niḇ·nū | |
| בְּת֥וֹךְ | among | bə·ṯō·wḵ | |
| עַמִּֽי׃ | My people . | ‘am·mî | |
| Jeremiah 12:17 | וְאִ֖ם | But if | wə·’im |
| לֹ֣א | they will not | lō | |
| יִשְׁמָ֑עוּ | obey , | yiš·mā·‘ū | |
| וְנָ֨תַשְׁתִּ֜י | then I will uproot | wə·nā·ṯaš·tî | |
