| עַל־ | it around | ‘al- | |
| מָתְנֶ֑יךָ | your waist , | mā·ṯə·ne·ḵā | |
| לֹ֥א | but do not | lō | |
| תְבִאֵֽהוּ׃ | let it touch | ṯə·ḇi·’ê·hū | |
| וּבַמַּ֖יִם | water .” | ū·ḇam·ma·yim | |

| טְמַנְתִּ֣יו | I had hidden it | ṭə·man·tîw |
