| בָּעֲלָטָ֣ה | at dusk ; | bā·‘ă·lā·ṭāh | |
| תְכַסֶּ֔ה | cover | ṯə·ḵas·seh | |
| פָּנֶ֣יךָ | your face | pā·ne·ḵā | |
| וְלֹ֥א | so that you cannot | wə·lō | |
| תִרְאֶ֖ה | see | ṯir·’eh | |
| אֶת־ | – | ’eṯ- | |
| הָאָ֑רֶץ | the land . | hā·’ā·reṣ | |
| כִּֽי־ | For | kî- | |
| נְתַתִּ֖יךָ | I have made you | nə·ṯat·tî·ḵā | |
| מוֹפֵ֥ת | a sign | mō·w·p̄êṯ | |
| לְבֵ֥ית | to the house | lə·ḇêṯ | |
