| בְּיוֹם֙ | On the day | bə·yō·wm | |
| טַהֲרִ֣י | I cleanse | ṭa·hă·rî | |
| אֶתְכֶ֔ם | you | ’eṯ·ḵem | |
| מִכֹּ֖ל | from all | mik·kōl | |
| עֲוֺנֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם | your iniquities , | ‘ă·wō·nō·w·ṯê·ḵem | |
| הֶ֣עָרִ֔ים | I will cause the cities | he·‘ā·rîm | |
| וְהֽוֹשַׁבְתִּי֙ | to be resettled | wə·hō·wō·šaḇ·tî | |

| הֶחֳרָבֽוֹת׃ | and the ruins | he·ḥo·rā·ḇō·wṯ | |

| עֵ֑דֶן | of Eden . | ‘ê·ḏen | |
| וְהֶעָרִ֧ים | The cities | wə·he·‘ā·rîm | |
| הֶחֳרֵב֛וֹת | that were once ruined , | he·ḥo·rê·ḇō·wṯ | |
| וְהַֽנְשַׁמּ֥וֹת | desolate , | wə·han·šam·mō·wṯ | |
| וְהַנֶּהֱרָס֖וֹת | and destroyed | wə·han·ne·hĕ·rā·sō·wṯ | |
| בְּצוּר֥וֹת | are now fortified | bə·ṣū·rō·wṯ | |
| יָשָֽׁבוּ׃ | and inhabited . ’ | yā·šā·ḇū | |
| Ezekiel 36:36 | הַגּוֹיִ֗ם | Then the nations | hag·gō·w·yim |
| סְבִיבוֹתֵיכֶם֒ | around you | sə·ḇî·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem | |

| הַנְּשַׁמָּ֑ה | what was desolate . | han·nə·šam·māh | |
| אֲנִ֥י | I , | ’ă·nî | |
| יְהוָ֖ה | YHWH , | Yah·weh | |
| דִּבַּ֥רְתִּי | have spoken , | dib·bar·tî | |
| וְעָשִֽׂיתִי׃ס | and I will do it . | wə·‘ā·śî·ṯî | |
| Ezekiel 36:37 | כֹּ֤ה | This is what | kōh |

| אִדָּרֵ֥שׁ | I will hear the plea | ’id·dā·rêš | |
| לְבֵֽית־ | of the house | lə·ḇêṯ- | |
| יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל | of Israel | yiś·rā·’êl | |
| לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת | and do | la·‘ă·śō·wṯ | |
| לָהֶ֑ם | for them | lā·hem | |

| אַרְבֶּ֥ה | I will multiply | ’ar·beh | |

| Ezekiel 36:38 | כְּצֹ֣אן | Like the numerous flocks | kə·ṣōn |
| קָֽדָשִׁ֗ים | for sacrifices | qā·ḏā·šîm | |
