בָּאַחֲרֹנָֽה׃later .bā·’a·ḥă·rō·nāh
Daniel 8:4רָאִ֣יתִיI sawrā·’î·ṯî
אֶת־’eṯ-
הָאַ֡יִלthe ramhā·’a·yil
מְנַגֵּחַ֩chargingmə·nag·gê·aḥ
יָ֨מָּהtoward the westyām·māh
וְצָפ֜וֹנָהand the northwə·ṣā·p̄ō·w·nāh
וָנֶ֗גְבָּהand the south .wā·neḡ·bāh
וְכָל־Nowə·ḵāl

חַיּוֹת֙animalḥay·yō·wṯ
יַֽעַמְד֣וּcould standya·‘am·ḏū
לְפָנָ֔יו against him ,lə·p̄ā·nāw
וְאֵ֥יןand there was nowə·’ên
מַצִּ֖ילdeliverancemaṣ·ṣîl
מִיָּד֑וֹfrom his power .mî·yā·ḏōw
וְעָשָׂ֥הHe didwə·‘ā·śāh
כִרְצֹנ֖וֹas he pleasedḵir·ṣō·nōw
וְהִגְדִּֽיל׃and became great .wə·hiḡ·dîl

חָז֖וּתwith a prominentḥā·zūṯ
קֶ֥רֶןhornqe·ren
בֵּ֥יןbetweenbên
עֵינָֽיו׃his eyes‘ê·nāw
הָֽעִזִּים֙. . .hā·‘iz·zîm
בָּ֤אcame
מִן־out ofmin-
הַֽמַּעֲרָב֙ the west ,ham·ma·‘ă·rāḇ
עַל־crossing‘al-
פְּנֵ֣יthe surfacepə·nê
כָל־of the entireḵāl
הָאָ֔רֶץearthhā·’ā·reṣ
וְאֵ֥יןwithoutwə·’ên
נוֹגֵ֖עַtouchingnō·w·ḡê·a‘
בָּאָ֑רֶץthe ground .bā·’ā·reṣ

מַגִּ֣יעַ׀approachmag·gî·a‘

וַיִּתְמַרְמַ֤רin a rageway·yiṯ·mar·mar
אֵלָיו֙ against him ,’ê·lāw
וַיַּ֣ךְand he struckway·yaḵ
אֶת־’eṯ-
הָאַ֔יִלthe ramhā·’a·yil
וַיְשַׁבֵּר֙and shatteredway·šab·bêr
אֶת־’eṯ-
שְׁתֵּ֣יhis twošə·tê
קְרָנָ֔יוhorns .qə·rā·nāw
בָּאַ֖יִלThe rambā·’a·yil
הָ֥יָהwashā·yāh
וְלֹא־vvvwə·lō-
כֹ֛חַpowerlessḵō·aḥ
לַעֲמֹ֣דto standla·‘ă·mōḏ
לְפָנָ֑יו against him ,lə·p̄ā·nāw
וַיַּשְׁלִיכֵ֤הוּand the goat threw himway·yaš·lî·ḵê·hū
אַ֙רְצָה֙to the ground’ar·ṣāh
וַֽיִּרְמְסֵ֔הוּ and trampled him ,way·yir·mə·sê·hū
