לֹ֣אI will not
אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ revoke [My judgment] ,’ă·šî·ḇen·nū
עַל־because‘al-
מִכְרָ֤םthey sellmiḵ·rām
צַדִּ֔יקthe righteousṣad·dîq
בַּכֶּ֙סֶף֙for silverbak·ke·sep̄
וְאֶבְי֖וֹןand the needywə·’eḇ·yō·wn
בַּעֲב֥וּרforba·‘ă·ḇūr
נַעֲלָֽיִם׃a pair of sandals .na·‘ă·lā·yim
Amos 2:7הַשֹּׁאֲפִ֤יםThey tramplehaš·šō·’ă·p̄îm
בְּרֹ֣אשׁon the headsbə·rōš
דַּלִּ֔יםof the poordal·lîm
עַל־as on‘al-
עֲפַר־the dust‘ă·p̄ar-
אֶ֙רֶץ֙of the earth ;’e·reṣ
יַטּ֑וּthey pushyaṭ·ṭū
עֲנָוִ֖יםthe needy‘ă·nā·wîm
וְדֶ֥רֶךְout of their way .wə·ḏe·reḵ
וְאִ֣ישׁA manwə·’îš
וְאָבִ֗יוand his fatherwə·’ā·ḇîw
יֵֽלְכוּ֙have relations withyê·lə·ḵū

הַֽנַּעֲרָ֔הthe same girlhan·na·‘ă·rāh
לְמַ֥עַןand solə·ma·‘an
חַלֵּ֖לprofaneḥal·lêl
אֶת־’eṯ-

Amos 2:8יַטּ֔וּThey lie downyaṭ·ṭū
אֵ֖צֶלbeside’ê·ṣel
כָּל־everykāl-
מִזְבֵּ֑חַaltarmiz·bê·aḥ
וְעַל־onwə·‘al-
בְּגָדִ֤יםgarmentsbə·ḡā·ḏîm
חֲבֻלִים֙taken in pledge .ḥă·ḇu·lîm
בֵּ֖יתAnd in the housebêṯ
אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ of their God ,’ĕ·lō·hê·hem
יִשְׁתּ֔וּthey drinkyiš·tū
וְיֵ֤יןwinewə·yên
עֲנוּשִׁים֙obtained through fines .‘ă·nū·šîm
Amos 2:9וְאָ֨נֹכִ֜יYet [it was] Iwə·’ā·nō·ḵî
הִשְׁמַ֤דְתִּיwho destroyedhiš·maḏ·tî
אֶת־’eṯ-
הָֽאֱמֹרִי֙the Amoritehā·’ĕ·mō·rî
מִפְּנֵיהֶ֔ם before them ,mip·pə·nê·hem
אֲשֶׁ֨רthough’ă·šer
כְּגֹ֤בַהּhis heightkə·ḡō·ḇah
גָּבְה֔וֹwas like that ofgā·ḇə·hōw
אֲרָזִים֙ the cedars ,’ă·rā·zîm
ה֖וּאand he was
וְחָסֹ֥ןas strongwə·ḥā·sōn
כָּֽאַלּוֹנִ֑יםas the oaks .kā·’al·lō·w·nîm
וָאַשְׁמִ֤ידYet I destroyedwā·’aš·mîḏ
פִּרְיוֹ֙his fruitpir·yōw
מִמַּ֔עַלabovemim·ma·‘al
וְשָׁרָשָׁ֖יוand his rootswə·šā·rā·šāw
מִתָּֽחַת׃below .mit·tā·ḥaṯ
Amos 2:10וְאָנֹכִ֛יAnd Iwə·’ā·nō·ḵî
הֶעֱלֵ֥יתִיbroughthe·‘ĕ·lê·ṯî
